We welcome new patients of all ages at Dental Group of Byram in Byram, MS. Here is what to expect at your first visit and what to bring.
What to expect at your first visit
1. Check in
Arrive about 10 minutes early. We will confirm your contact details and insurance and answer any questions.
2. Health history
We review your medical history and medications so your care is safe and fits your needs.
3. Exam and X-rays
Your dentist checks your teeth, gums and bite. We take X-rays when they are needed.
4. Your plan
We talk through what we found, your options and the cost before any treatment starts.
What to bring
- A photo ID
- Your dental insurance card, if you have one
- A list of the medications you take
Save time at check in: download the new patient paperwork and bring it with you.
Insurance
We accept most dental insurance plans and file claims for you. See financial options.
No insurance
Ask about our in-house membership plan. CareCredit and Sunbit let you pay over time.
